The Simpsons - The Call of the Simpsons is the 7th episode of season 1 and number 7 overall in the series.
In this episode, Flanders neighbour of The Simpsons and enemy of Homer, has a new RV and Homer is enviousabout it. So, Homer goes to "Bob's RV Round-up" to buy one too. Proudof his new RV, he set off for a vacation in the wilderness with the family.After an accident there (driving off the edge of a cliff), the Simpsons find themselves trapped in the woods. Homer and Bart after leaving behind the girlsin the family, try to get some help and the way back to the closest town. Later on, Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot and captured, then taken to a lab for testing. Marge, Bart and Lisa are saved and Homer is released, although scientists say that they can not determine which species he belongs to.
Meanwhile, Maggie, the yougest member of the Simpsons, finds herself separated from the family and raised by bears.

This episode and "Some Enchanted Evening" are the ONLY episodes not to really have a couch gag. The Simpsons sit down normally. I thought in every episode The Simpsons always did something wacky in the couch gags. Oh, Well. I didn't know in the first season episodes also had more background music.
