The Simpsons - Lisa Simpson, This Isn't Your Life is the 5th episode of season 22 and number 469 overall in the series. It is also part of the Halloween special series.
When Lisa finds out that Marge used to be as smart as Lisa before she slacked off, Lisa decides to buckle down (including sacrificing her love of arts and music) and not make the same mistake her mother did. Meanwhile, Bart publicly humiliates Nelson and becomes the school's new bully.
Todd VanDerWerff of The A.V. Club gave the episode a positive review calling it the "best episode of the season so far this week." and felt that "having her directly turn those feelings of inadequacy back on her mother was a nice turn, and the story made good use of the Marge and Lisa relationship as its emotional core".
